Use of socio-educational measures in Brazil

The present work has as general objective to approach the criminal responsibility of the juvenile offender that occurs through socio-educational measures and later try to clarify the reasons for the recidivism of minors. From this perspective, it seeks to present some causes that lead adolescents to commit crimes, and thus point out the participation and responsibility of those who have the obligation to take care of these minors, be they the family, the State or society, remembering that the purpose of the measures socio-educational is the rehabilitation of the juvenile offender.
