The present work will have the purpose of demonstrating the influence of the media action regarding crimes of great repercussion in Brazil. In this sense, we will approach the origin, historical evolution, the concept and function of the Media. Furthermore, it explains how media influence over Brazilian people and courts today. In addition to explaining the scope of
the jurisdiction from the perspective of the Democratic Rule of Law and on the principled character of the accused's fundamental rights in the face of the freedom of publicity in the media with respect to procedural acts, we seek to critically analyze the relationship between the precepts fundamental rights of the accused foreseen in the Constitution of the Federative
Republic of Brazil, of 1988, with the media action regarding the crimes of great repercussion.
