Indemnity of possession

In this text, a reflection is made on the main themes of the expropriation institute, in particular historical facts that gave rise to the institute, the analysis of the incidence of compensatory and default interest and the jurisprudential position. And yet, an approach to the Housing Policy of the Municipality of Belo Horizonte, regarding the compensation of the squatters. For such, the existing legislation on the subject, the position of the main scholars on the subject were used as a source of consultation, as well as an attempt to demonstrate the position of our Courts, especially higher courts.
